The mathematical content in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) is traditionally taught in a bottom-up and linear fashion, meaning that it starts simple with key assumptions, basic laws, etc and they are built up and combined into useful equations that describe the field.
However, this can leave students open to missing links in their understanding which once they are establish slow down learning and can be tricky to find and retroactively fill in.
We are offering a tool that integrates into existing educational textbooks that allows students to quickly, easily and interactively locate and learn the missing links in their understanding.
